News, Muse & Inspiration 13: Clifton Arts Exhibition

Clifton Arts is a society based in Bristol, with over one hundred years of history and a modern open approach to all things ART. This year their annual exhibition is taking place in collaboration with North Somerset Arts Week.

Three pieces of my work are currently on display at Venue 12 - the Clifton Suspension Bridge Visitor Centre, just next to Isambard Kingdom Brunel's iconic bridge. The Exhibition is open from 3rd to 8th May 2023.

These pieces are inspired by the construction of bridges, tunnels and ships using Brunel's engineering genius and are called (L to R) Fortify (2023), Elevate (2023) and Edifice (2023). Each piece is made up of a series of layers of paint and collage on paper. They are 30cm x 40cm in size and are mounted and framed in 40cm x 50cm frames.

The Exhibition is open from 10am to 5pm each day. The Clifton Suspension Bridge Visitors Centre is located on the Leigh Woods (North Somerset) side of the bridge. The address is Bridge Rd, Leigh Woods, Bristol BS8 3PA.
